Mountain Biking 
The are offers a great opportunity for mountain biking. In Luchon in summer the telecabin operates from the town centre and taking you and your bikes from 800m to 1800m where a number of the ski runs are turned into mountain bike trails of varying degrees of difficulty.

There are several bike shops offering spare parts and good quality bikes for hire in Luchon and the ticket office for the telecabn can provide you with a set of route cards for the area.

Road cycling
The Pyrenees have long been a favourite for the adventurous road biker. The Tour de France passes through various parts of the region every year. The long mountain passes with their spectacular scenery, challenging climbs and thrilling descents draw thousands every year.
