Travelling by Road to our Gite to Rent in the French Pyrenees

Directions From Toulouse, Blagnac Airport   Approx 1hr 45mins

• Leave airport and start by following signs towards Toulouse and then the  A61/ A62
• You will now be on the motorway which at first is very bendy so take it easy, follow signs for Tarbes and Foix
• Continue following signs for Tarbes as well as picking up signs for Lourdes , Ste Sebastien onto the A64
• As you leave the Toulouse area you will pass trough a Peaege station which is 1 euro 50
• Keep following signs to Tarbes and Lourdes on A64
• You will pass through another Peage station to collect a ticket
• Leave A64 at J17 signposted Luchon & Lerida
• Keep in left lane at Peage station (3 euros 10) and continue straight on towards Luchon
• At next roundabout go Straight on to Luchon

• Keep straight ahead until you reach a roundabout with Luchon signposted to the Right
• Turn right at this roundabout and cross over the Garronne river
• 100 metres on at T Junction turn left towards Luchon
• At next roundabout go straight ahead.
• On entering Luchon (also known as Bagneres de Luchon) continue straight on following signs for Arreau and Col de Perysourdes
• If you want to stop off for supplies the Intermarche in Luchon is the best one stop shop to aim for. (Turn right after the right hand bend and after you have passed the railway line and head towards the station. Supermarket entrance is 1km past the station on your right).
• Follow the D618 towards Arreau. Go through the 3 villages of St. Aventin, Cazeaux de Labourst and Garin on the D618

• Shortly after leaving the village of Garin (just under 1km) take a left turn signposted Gouaux de Larboust (our village) on the D76B.  The village is 2km up this road.
• As you come into the village you will pass a wooden sign on your left. Shortly after this is a church on your right. Another 30 metres further up the road you will see the Hotel and Bar Sarrat on your right.  There is a parking area just before the hotel on the right. The house and Gites are directly opposite the hotel/ bar. The entrance to the Gites is through a steel gate and down a few steps. A wooden gate leads into the courtyard.
• If there is no room to park here go back to the church where parking can be had just off the road.
